A procedure that uses small needles to prick the skin. The purpose of treatment is to generate new collagen and skin tissue for smoother, firmer, more toned skin. Microneedling is mostly used on the face and may treat various scars, wrinkles, and large pores. Combining two concepts; the first being advanced collagen stimulation therapy micro needling and the second Mesotherapy; the introduction of traditional pharmaceuticals, vitamins, minerals, growth factors, biomimetic peptides and amino acids into the skin to target specific conditions.

What are Dermapen™ treatments?

 Dermapen Pro™ is the breakthrough of the decade utilising the most advanced needle cartridge innovation to vertically pierce the skin. Dermapen Pro™ glides over the skin creating millions of fine fractional channels up to 104% faster than other microneedling devices. How many treatments are recommended for rejuvenation and acne scarring and stretch marks?

Rejuvenation*: 3-6 treatments 

Acne Scarring: 4-6 treatments 

Pigmentation: 4-6 treatments 

Stretch Marks: 4 – 8 treatments 

*Superficial treatments maybe recommended at 4 weekly intervals

How is the treatment administered?

Dermapen™ procedures are carried out in a very safe and accurate manner with the use of sterile single use cartridges. The Dermapen SureSpace™ and SafLok™ patented technologies are why Dermapen is the safest microneedling treatment and achieves the best treatment results. The skin is cleansed and Cliniprep solution is applied to the skin before needling starts. The Dermapen is passed over the skin to puncture the outer layer. The skin is then cooled and calmed with a mask. 

While the mask is on, we can offer a complimentary microneedle of the hands if you would like them done. 

In our advanced Dermapen treatment we use a bespoke mix of mesotherapy products containing epidermal growth factor, hyaluronic acid, amino acids, peptides, and vitamins to penetrate the skin for improved results. After the microneedling, whilst the mask is on, an LED mask will be put over the skin to calm and help heal the skin. 

How long should it take before I see results?

Typically, you will see results after the first treatment. Lasting and more significant results will become visible after 3 to 6 treatments (spaced 2-8 weeks apart). The condition of your skin will continue to improve over the next 6-12 months after a course of treatments, especially when combined with the recommended post-treatment care. 

Is there any downtime after treatments?

Generally, no, but you may experience facial redness for 12-48 hours after the treatment. Most people can return to normal daily activities immediately after the treatment. 

Nanoneedling

Nano Needling is a gentle, non-invasive skin treatment designed to refresh and revitalise the complexion with zero downtime. Unlike traditional microneedling, which penetrates deeper into the dermis, nano needling works only on the upper layers of the skin, making it suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
